What paper stock does BusinessCard use?
We uses 300 GSM (140 lb) premium art card manufactured by top paper manufacturers. The paper stock we use has excellent stiffness and thickness that produce a solid and quality printing.

What is Spot UV / Spot Highlighting?
Spot UV Varnish is applied to chosen spots (areas), of a printed material. This has the affect of highlighting and drawing attention to that part of the design, but it also provides the additional visual stimulus of having varied textures on a single printed surface. This type of printing can identify as a premium business card in the perception of the reader. This works well on logos and company names.

BusinessCard.com.sg use offset lithography is the most common printing process for business cards, stationery and marketing materials today. It offsets ink from metal plates to a rubber blanket (cylinder) to the paper. Lithographic printing is well suited for printing both text and illustrations in short to medium length runs of up to 1,000,000 impressions. This process delivers the highest quality printing.

What is different between offset printing and digital printing?
Offset Printing:
Description: Most common printing process for business cards, stationery and marketing materials today also referred as full color printing.
Advantages: Consistent high quality for text and images and it relatively fast.
Disadvantages: Expensive for lower quantity and short printing runs.

Digital Printing:
Description: Direct reproduction of digital images, most commonly use digital printing machine like Xerox DocuColor.
Advantages: Fast, good quality for textual prints.
Disadvantages: Cheap price in small quantity, image reproduction not of the highest achievable quality.

This service is only available for digital business card printing and you have ready design file or using our online design studio and templates. Offset printing that order during, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Eve of Public Holiday is not available. Order must be completed online and self collection only.

Does BusinessCard.com.sg create design and artwork for customer?
Basically we have online design studio for customer who wish to create design, artwork and upload their logos or finishing work instantly. But for customer who want us to design for them, there will be an artwork and design fee depend on the complexity of the request. BusinessCard.com.sg is a online print shop. In an effort to keep costs down and pass those savings along to our customers, all design proof view and order must be online. Hard copy design proof can be request upon confirmation of order during the check out.

Can I cancel or change my order?
In general, once an order has been electronically transferred through our printer network, it is put into production and can not be changed. We apologize for this inconvenience.

After an order is placed, but before it has been transferred to the printer, there is a small amount of time in which to cancel the order, recall your design, and then make changes and reorder. This window of time varies between 30 and 60 minutes after you place your order.

For future reference, if you find a problem with your that you may not be able to cancel it yourself, please contact our customer service.

Our online system is a fully self-service web site that mean you save. We hope you understand our need to keep our costs at a minimum and our turnaround times fast, in order to continue to provide you with the best value in the printing industry.

Do all orders have to be placed online?
Not necessary if your print quantity is larger than 10,000 or have a special design sizes, corporate color (sizes, pantone color that no listed on our website) and Corporate Solutions. Please send us an email to our Customer Service and we shall revert back to you with the most competitive quote. Our representatives will contact you promptly.

Do I receive proofs prior to print?
Yes, we do send proofs prior to print upon request and is chargeable. But we will not sent out hard copy proofs for Online Design Studio systems, all proofs are viewed online. What you see on the preview approval page is close to what will be printed. Please note that all monitors will reflect a slight variance on color. How do I re-order?
Offline Order
Sent us email with your Order ID or invoice number you previously order. Our representatives will contact you promptly. (We recommend online order is easier and you can instant preview of design)

Online Order
1. Login using your email and password that you have registered.
2. You will see you user profile below our top menu, click Portfolio and you can Edit your design, Order, PDF Preview or Create Another Version.

What do I do if my order I received is not complete.
If you have received your order and believe that it is not complete, please review the details of your order to verify that all items have shipped together. Please contact us with the details of what is missing.

What happens if my order is delayed?
Due to the high amount of orders we receive, occasionally some orders may experience delays. Simply email to our Customer Service. We will gladly issue a credit towards a future order.

When it comes to quality, there is no substitute. Pretty good isn't good at all. It needs to be the best it can be. We assure you that the quality of our craftsmanship will meet or exceed industry standards by any measure. We strive to provide the most accurate color reproduction and to maintain consistent color throughout the course of each and every press run. If at any time we fail to meet these quality standards, we will, without any question, reprint the job at our cost. We will expedite the production of any reprinted materials to the best of our ability - including express shipping at our cost whenever necessary. If for some reason reprinting is not an option, we will refund 100% of your money.

Color Proofs; due to differences in equipment, paper, inks and other conditions between color proofing and production runs, a reasonable variation in color [within 10%] between color proofs and the completed job will be deemed acceptable unless otherwise agreed. In an effort to keep costs down and pass those savings along to our customers, we do not review card documents for content or spelling.

Does turnaround time including shipping time?
No, turnaround time refers to our production turnaround time, which does not include shipping time. In addition, turnaround time for your print job begins calculating once your order has been placed and your print-ready files have been uploaded, attached and approved. If you ordered a proof, your turnaround begins calculating when we receive approval for your proof reading.

Currency Exchange Rate
Buying anything internationally with your credit card, Amex, Visa or Mastercard handle the exchange rate for you through our payment gateway site. This is a simple process where you are charged in your local currency for the purchase. There's nothing left for you to do.

Your credit card statement will detail the Singapore dollar amount, the current rate of conversion, and then the amount you are being charged in your own currency.

What methods of payment do you accept?

Cheque, Cash or Money Order payments are only available to customers whose banks are located within the Singapore. Unfortunately, the collection fees associated with drafts drawn on foreign banks restrict us from economically processing the payment.

Do you offer rush delivery service?
You must order before 12 noon EST. Delivery time does not include weekend days and holidays. Express delivery orders received after 12 noon EST will not ship until the next business day. Additional charges apply to express orders with oversized items during your order check out. Express delivery Internationally may take additional time due to the distance. Next Day Air shipments are received Monday through Friday. Please see charts below for more details.

Do you ship international?
BusinessCards.com.sg provide printing services that delivery worldwide to your door step. If you still cannot find your country during your check out, please sent us an email to Customer Service and we are too happy to made delivery to your new destination.

All international orders ship via air mail. Delivery time on these orders can take up to 2 weeks. All prices and shipping rates are quoted in Singapore Dollars and do not include applicable duty, customs charges or taxes which are paid by the customer. Normally we declare business cards as Non Market Value, as taxes shall not apply to this products. You will get your shipping cost before you are required to enter any billing information.

Please note that there is no tracking information with USPS International Air Mail. The recipient will be responsible for any and all taxes and duties including brokerage fees incurred upon receipt of purchase.

Which shipping methods do you use?
For deliveries within the Singapore, we generally deliver via the SingPost (Speedpost Islandwide Courier - Same Day) or our company delivery. The shipping time with this method is usually 2 to 3 business days. The cost starts at SGD10.00 for small items and goes up depending on weight. You will get your shipping cost before you are required to enter any billing information.

For orders that delivery worldwide, we generally deliver via SingPost and UPS. For more information regarding international shipping please click here.
